Hi! I’m Emma Lin.

I am a New York State-certified Visual Arts teacher and graphic designer based in Queens, New York.

I love guiding students to explore the Elements of Art and Principles of Design through hands-on projects that spark creativity, curiosity, and confidence. My curriculum is aligned with the National Core Arts Standards, giving every student the tools to experiment, express themselves, and develop their own artistic voice.

K-5 Visual Arts Curriculum Overview

Instructional Philosophy
This curriculum develops students’ artistic thinking through the Elements of Art and Principles of Design, cultural exploration, and hands-on studio practice. Students move from foundational studio habits to independent artistic expression, building technical skills, visual literacy, and creative confidence.
